On staff are two Enrolled Agents licensed to practice before the IRS. Employees take classes each year to keep current in tax law.

Marilyn owns Meredith Tax Service, Meredith Financial Research, and Much & More Income Tax Workshops. Marilyn is an instructor for other tax professionals with for the National Association of Tax Professionals, the Michigan Chapter of NATP and other professional organizations.
Marilyn has been in the tax business since 1967. She has been an Enrolled Agent (EA) since 1979, and is on the Board of the Michigan Chapter of NATP.
In addition to keeping current with changing tax laws and procedures, Marilyn is frequently called upon to instruct other tax professionals nationwide. Marilyn is available by appointment in our Port Huron and St. Clair offices. Please call ahead of time for an appointment.

Kevin started in the tax business in 1993 working at Jackson Hewitt. In 2001, he purchased Sheaffer Tax and ran it as SKBTAX LLC for 6 years, selling to Meredith Tax in 2007. Kevin earned his Enrolled Agent designation in the fall of 2011 and also works as a Realtor® for Virtual Realty One LLC out of New Baltimore.
